Beautiful vintage Marmoucha  Berber carpet with an elegant and symmetrical design of wrapped diamonds, in soft quality antique wool. The rug was hand-knotted by the Marmoucha tribal people, who were skilled weavers, neighbors of the Beni Ourain tribe in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Their rugs have influenced each other and are often similar to each other.
