Stunning ikat pillow made of ikat fabric in pure natural silk from Uzbekistan. The ikat is an ancient technique of painting for the decoration of fabrics, obtained by complex operations of dyeing the yarn to be woven, through a tight binding of the warp threads, so as to prevent the color from passing in certain areas.

The cushion is entirely in silk ikat fabric both on the front and on the back.

Sold without filling. Dry clean.

Each pillow cover is one of a kind.

Curious Note: The Uzbeks call the ikat silk fabric “Khan Atlas” which literally means “real silk satin”, because it is a luxurious fabric, wonderful to the touch, which shines gently in the light.
